The Walsh Group promotes Brian Geist to Senior Vice President of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
CHICAGO - The Walsh Group, one of the largest construction service providers in the United States, has announced Brian Geist as Senior Vice President of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
As Senior Vice President, Geist will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of comprehensive safety programs across all of The Walsh Group鈥檚 operating divisions 鈥� building, transportation and water. This senior executive role involves directing corporate safety training initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, and fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability across the organization.

Geist has 19 years of construction experience and 17 years with The Walsh Group, previously serving as vice president of HSE for the water division. He initiated robust training programs and safety accountability systems that achieved a collection of safety milestones during his tenure, including one million hours of safe work across southwest water projects and multiple projects that realized more than 1,000 days without recordable incidents. His leadership and proactive efforts have been a catalyst in driving continuous improvement in year-over-year trainings and compliance metrics. From craft leadership in safety to implementing and exploring the latest safety technologies, Brian will lead with a forward-thinking approach that continually enhances our safety performance and sets new standards for The Walsh Group.
